Aurimas Adomavicius

I was born in Lithuania in 1981 to a couple of parents that are in many ways very different from each other to this day. My father is a physics professor and my mom worked as a sculpture teacher when I was growing up. A blend of their skills was passed on to me and that reflects well in the pictures I take: they are usually very structural and technical in approach and post-processing. Curious about photography from an early age, my first pictures were taken with a Smena 8M. The hobby did not flourish until I arrived in United States in 1999 where the relatively inexpensive equipment was much more accessible as compared to Lithuania. First camera was the film Canon Rebel 2000, which was later upgraded to a Canon G3, then a Canon Digital Rebel, a Canon 40D, and finally a Canon 5D which is the currently used camera. Edit: Mark II has joined the goodie bag!
  • Canon EOS 5D Mark II
  • Canon 50mm F/1.2L
  • Canon 85mm F/1.8
  • Canon 17-40 F/4L
  • Canon 135mm F/2L
