In February I went in Venice , the home of my maternal grandmother adorable ( so adorable that my classmates in elementary , greeted her as the Führer ) . As soon as I got out of the car, I immediately felt a great longing for my grandmother and from that city I visited constantly by little . Now they were 9 years that we went back again. Together with my friends, photography enthusiasts like me, we walked to Piazza San Marco , to photograph one of the most beautiful carnivals in the world.
Alas, I came across one of my biggest limits (or maybe not ), or not be able to photograph in color.
I find it difficult, and not very accommodating with my visions melancholic and romantic . So I did a job completely different from my friends ; I tried to photograph Venice in Black and White in the days of the carnival, trying to grasp the nuances of gray that city at that particular time . In short, a work of Venice different from usual.
