Eduardo Mendoza, born in Mexico, discovered photography with an old 35mm Mamiya-Sekor owned by his father. Today, after getting a degree in Graphic Design and working as a photographer for twelve years in product, architecture and commercial, while he uses the camera to frequently explore life in it's delicacies, Mendoza looks through the lens to find his own interpretation of the world, its people, the natural landscape and the wildlife that still remains. His inspiration can be found in the work of great photography masters like Frans Lanting, Jim Brandenburg, Art Wolfe, David duChemin, Juan Rulfo, Michael Nichols, Sebastião Salgado, etc.
Eduardo Mendoza's main goal is to document the natural world in collaboration with scientists and institutions to help support the conservation initiatives that protect our beautiful planet. His love for nature, adventure and documentary photography, is shared with trekking, mountaineering and cave exploration.
Mendoza currently shares this passion for photography giving workshops and weekend photo tours in Mexico.
