Cross processing a Saturday morning

Woke up to a cloudy wet morning and thought I'd try something new on my walk up Mount Eden. I set my Olympus to its 'cross-process' setting and made myself a few rules:

• Turn off the screen and no peeking/chimping

• No deleting

• Walk a different path

• Notice new things

• Think about each press of the shutter

It was great fun. I ended up with 38 photos all with a kind of greeny, gloomy and dewy look.

This week Charlie Atkinson (on Erik Kim's blog) set the weekly assignment to be "Silhouettes".

My son was very obliging in helping me discover how to get an interesting looking silhouette. After some practice in the car port and many shots later we went down to the Auckland Marina to try get some Silhouette Street shots.
