António Morais

António Morais is a passionate Portuguese Cinematographer. With 14 years of carrier as a visual artist, he started as a Photographer following the footsteps of his father since a very young age. In the last 7 years he has traveled the world shooting all types of projects from Fiction to Documentary.

He lived in Jordan for 2 years, where he taught students from all over the world in SAE – AMMAN. Since then he has developed a very close relationship with the Middle East. He shot multiple projects in the area, Documentaries, Feature Films, Short Films, Commercials and TV Series. Some of those are, “Born in 48” Documentary, “Camera and the City – Jordan” and “Yemen” TV Documentary series, “Battir” Documentary, “The Red Prince” Documentary, “Over Sized Coat” Feature Film, “Night of the Fall” Short Film, “The Asphalt Color” TV Series, “The Rania Show” TV Series. He collaborated with various directors in Middle East, Ayed Nabah, Nawras Abu Saleh, Mohammed Hushki, Dalia Abuzeid.

António holds an MA and BA in Audiovisual Production and Directing with his major in Cinematography. Nowadays he splits his time between shoots through out the world and sharing is knowledge giving classes.
