Josh Peckler

I am currently a freelance photographer in the Denver area. I was formerly a photographer in Yuma, Arizona for the Yuma Sun and the Northwest Herald in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

I fell in love with photography during my first photo class in high school and haven't put down my camera since. I went on to study photojournalism at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and graduated in 2008.

In 2010 I decided to take the year off and move to Kenya in East Africa. Having studied abroad there as a undergrad I fell in love with the country and its' people and knew I wanted to go back.

Photography is fascinating to me because it gives me the power to freeze a moment in time and tell a story with that photograph.
