Denis Paradis, hobbyist photographer, founder of "Through Lisa's Eyes" in support of Sault Area Hospital Cancer Unit. All proceeds from photo sales are donated to support Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada's hospital's cancer care fund.
Lisa Paradis was born Sept 12, 1964 and was a proud mother of 3 wonderful boys, and Denis' wonderful wife. Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer in May 2008 and despite a courageous battle, lost her fight on Dec 9, 2010. Lisa bought Denis his first DSLR camera and encouraged him to take pictures. Her cancer struggles taught Denis and the family to look around to appreciate nature’s beauty, which surrounds us on a daily basis. She also taught Denis to enjoy today because one never knows what tomorrow will bring. Denis has started “Through Lisa’s Eyes” where the goal is to support the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Unit one picture at a time. Denis and his family thank you for your support.
Denis Paradis is a retired sergeant of the Canadian Forces where he was employed as a radar system technician for 20.5 years. When Denis is not working or out taking photographs he is acting as co-chair of Sault Minor Hockey Association, responsible for the Atom and Pee wee rep hockey teams for Sault Ste Marie and area.
