Images always intrigued me. And a few black and white images captured by Raghu Rai made a significant difference to my whole approach towards photography. This was some twenty five years back, when I started looking at photography as another medium of art. It is a passion for this art that drew me closer to this medium. I started capturing things that normally do not catch our attention, things that we tend to overlook, curious things that reside beyond the obvious. These helped me tell stories of life through my images. Few years that I spent as a member of Jadavpur University Photographic Club helped me hone my artistic skills.
