Rolleiflex 2.8D Xenotar

Published August 7th, 2012

I've wanted a TLR for some time, but when I read about the discovery of Vivian Maier's work a few years ago, and saw the amazing result she got with her Rolleiflex, I began my (admittedly lazy and half-hearted) search for a similar camera at a price I could afford.

A few weeks ago, I found one, and shot a few rolls to check shutter speeds, etc. They're close, but I'm having it overhauled by the amazing Karl Ehlers, and am eager to get it back shoot some more.

The black and white are Ilford HP5+ 400 and the color are Velvia 50 (I'm stocking up on this soon-to-be-discontinued film right now).
