It is easy to get lost in the routine of the everyday, to skip the exciting for the mundane out of habits sake. It is easy to overlook beauty, to disregard creativity and possibility when following a set daily procedure. This is true in life as it is in photography, a photographer, especially when shooting similar subjects on a daily basis, can become so set in his work, that he overlooks new possibilities, new locations, new subjects that could potentially improve his images. I had these thoughts precisely in my head when travelling to Nepal. I wanted to get away from the seen subjects, from the obvious images, from the beautifully mundane that had been seen by millions of people prior to me. I wanted to capture the people of the streets. I wanted to be a travelling street photographer.
