Here is another image from the Lotseninsel showing the Lighthouse Schleimünde. It´s a pretty small one, about 14 meters high and build back in 1871. The lighthouse is still in use and is the guidance / orientation for the only 20 meter wide entry to the Schlei Fjord. As you can see on the sea wall, the water level was dramatically low that day due to the ongoing westerly winds. Usually it´s about 1 meter higher and with easterly storms over a couple of days parts of the seawall and parts of the Island are flooded.
I took this image while it rained quite heavily and tried to cover with an umbrella. But still some raindrops made it onto the filter, so that the overall quality is pretty much soft. A good reason to come back again to that spot.
