It's the name of these rice terraces, near the village of Longshen, in China. If you like black & white, go visiting any kind of paddy fields when the rice is on its way to be ripe for the harvest. If you come earlier, it's beautifully green, but monotonous in monochrome. If you come later, it will be wonderfully yellow, alas boring when turned into blacks and whites. There is a few days where the fields hesitate between gold, color of the indestructibility, and the malachite, symbol of life. To photograph is to be at the perfect moment. And the rain always helps the black & white. Sorry for those quick to get a cold… Know what you want, be where you need, and take pictures you wish.
