Going for a colour upload today, well almost colour :-). This was taken at Gants Hill Underground station and is such a stunning station architecturally. Probabley one of the only Art Deco style stations on the whole network and is generally very quiet so you get chance to take some images where people aren't going to get in the way of the image (just like this one). If you get some spare time take a visit with you camera to this station, you will not be disappointed.

The inspiration for this image was actually the underground mice that you see on the underground. Have you ever seen them? They normally only pop out in very quiet stations or when major stations are very quiet in the the early hours. I am sure they are there all the time but we just don't see them. What I find fascinating is they probably live underground for most of their life. I took this image to try and figure out what a mouse's perspective would look like from really low to the ground. I think this would have been impossible to do at a busy station. Taken with my fisheye to give that ultra wide perspective that probably a mouse would see :-). If you are going to take an image like this obviously just be careful of the on coming train.

Hope you all have a great Friday and thanks for all your feedback on the other photos, its very much appreciated :-) Have a good weekend.
