Salzburg, Austria. My very first travel abroad, when I was a little child, was in Austria. The Italian border to Austria is quite close to where I live, indeed it takes just a few hours by car. Therefore, I have a strong and well-established feeling with these people, above all with the southern region of the country (South Tyrol and Carinthia). Actually Salzburg rises in North Central Area, nevertheless the environment is pretty similar to the southern side. For a long time I wanted to ride through this region and visit this beautiful city, full of charm and culture. I also wanted to visit the Salt Mine, which made a huge fortune to the City during the last centuries. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so, from a photographic point of view, I'm not happy at all. I have to go back there again. At the end of my stay, getting out from downtown in order to come back home, I stopped for a while at Schlosspark Hellbrunn and, between a heavy rain and a downpour, I was able to step into the park and take this shot. I was attracted by the sun over the lawn and the first row of trees, versus the dark clouds, loaded of rain, impending over the hill and the little castle.
