ESTACADA, OREGON - June 30, 2011 - Portland photographer Kelly James, right, and his assistant hold a plexiglass box in the water so James could lower his camera below the water surface to capture video of a very cooperative bull trout after officials reintroduced the first bull trout back to their home waters in the Clackamas River from which they were completely wiped out nearly 50 years ago. As part of an overall recovery strategy for this threatened species, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife reintroduce the native fish to this major tributary of the Willamette River near Portland over the next month.
