Still practicing with my Lee Big Stopper and this is one of my best ones so far. Still not quite how I would like it I feel but getting there. I have just got a Sigma 10-20 and so hopefully will get better luck with that lens than my Tamron, I am just waiting on a 77mm Lee wide adaptor to come in the post so I can use it with the Lee system.
The biggest challenge I found with this photo was the fading light. I took it when the sun was starting to set in February and calculated the shutter speed and in previous atempts they looked completely wrong and unexposed. I forgot to have a longer shutter speed to counteract the fading light. This image was still slightly underexposed but managed to salvage it I feel and it probably one of my best Lee Big Stopper images to date.
I really hope you all are enjoying the Olympics here in London. Been really enjoying it and I have managed to secure some tickets myself for the Marathon Swim (aka Open Water Swimming) in Hyde Park on Thursday, I wonder what the camera restrictions are, I had better have a look as I have heard you can't take big cameras into events.
