It's not a good feeling.
After a fun morning alone in the mountains - starting at 0600 to get that great AM light shooting waterfalls. Following the river, walking uphill a bit to an even better waterfall, strolling through a beautiful grove of Aspen. To return to the truck, only to realize your keys have fallen out of your pocket sometime during the morning. My water and cell phone, locked inside the truck. I retraced my steps TWICE forwards and backwards for an hour looking for my damn keys! I walked UP that mountain THREE times this morning. Finally, I saw them shining in the sun by the stream I'd stopped to look at (whew!)
I named this fall "Hell's Waterfall" and the Aspen Grove "Mel's Meadow" after my event. I returned tonight, to find a family of deer in my meadow!!!
