This adorable little beauty is the sister of the Clouded Leopard I first introduced here on my 500px pages a few months ago; if you happened to have missed that introduction and curiosity get the better of you, you can see the last image I posted of the other sister by clicking on this link

The cubs were born back in March (2012) and I began to photograph them soon after their inoculations at two months old. The image you see here was taken in May, and really the only one that came out well during that particular short session; like all cats, Clouded Leopards sleep for the greater part of the day, but during their first months can easily sleep 20 or more hours, so my first few sessions generally lasted no more than 10 minutes at a time.

Clouded Leopards are a vulnerable species native to the forests and jungles of many Southeast Asian countries, though are rarely ever seen in the wild, as secretive and shy is their nature. Clouded Leopards also happen to be my absolute favourite animal of all, so I hope to be showing you more photos in the coming weeks and months!
