Minaret Peaks at twilight under the crescent moon in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. Had a friend ask me if I timed the ice on the lake or in other high mountain scenes. For the most part I just shoot what is dealt to me at the time otherwise I would have to visit the lakes too many times in the beginning of summer so I find it easier to just adapt the conditions at hand. I really enjoy the wide angle mountain shots but I really wanted to capture the mountain dominance as the peaks rise up above the lake in the scene.
