I went hunting up a very dark mountain in North Wales called Moel Famau for the start of the Perseid Meteor shower. Needless to say I saw quite a few considering it doesn't really start until the 12th, but I was aiming the camera in the wrong direction.

And that moon was originally in the other direction. I used the multiple exposure onboard the D90 to get this shot! Took soooo many attempts to get right! I did try the lens cap trick, but the moon was a pain to get just right and it was bleeding windy up there meaning the camera shook despite being locked down tight.

The fire isn't real by the way! :o)
