From a recent trip to Joshua Tree and taking advantage of some monsoon weather. We were still getting some raindrops and sprinkles and though you probably can't see it this size, there are actually a few water droplets still on the cactus. Amazing thing about the desert, you'd never have known it rained at all...and it was pouring heavily through the afternoon...but the ground was practically dry. Just soaks it up, but the color of the cholla maintained a deeper tone for awhile.

Thanks as always for stopping by for a look!
