As for the technicals here, there was quite a bit of dof blending going on (obviously), I used 5 shots. 3 for the paintbrush and front row of lupine to get tack sharp front to back and 2 for the mid and back. The 5th shot was double processed for the mountain and then the sky. All shots were shot at f16, 640 iso, shutter speeds varied.
I know this may not be that appealing to some. The "in ur face" look isn't for everyone, and I understand that. For me, this was really more of at exercise in the technicalities it took to do it. I believe it adds a new element to the image, aside from just being a beautiful mountain scene. Being able to see the crispy sharpness in nature from front to back is kinda cool in some shots.
