A short hike to this remarkable vantage point of Bridalveil Falls and the Valley did not let us down. We waited through a beautiful cloudless sunset for the full moon to rise over the rim.

It took a little bit of planning to nail this composite image of three separate exposures, one for the falls and valley walls, which also consisted of the trees on the rim. Then one for the moonless sky and a final one for the moon. The real bear was blending the trees with the sky. I've blended exposures before, but nothing quite as ambitious as this, so I welcome any feedback offered.
