This "abstract" photograph was from a trip to the cave (under the Mendenhall Glacier) that I would consider highly successful just because I came away with this. It's a concept I had been seeking for some time and was reminded of by a comment I received on G+.

I wanted to capture considerable depth in the image without including features that would make the depth readily apparent to anyone but "experienced glacial cave visitors". I succeeded by photographing across the cave, instead of up or down its length. In the future, though, I would like to add some other angles/perspectives to this one and make the images a collection of sorts.
