This was one of the first HDRs I ever tried. It shows the Odeonsplatz in Munich at night. I met Janine this evening to shoot some pics and to give her some previous pictures I shot of her (check out the ‘I’ll make it’ one, that’s her). But it rained once again (it always seems to rain when I meet her) and after a while of hanging out at a coffee shop we decided to head out and start shooting without minding some few drops of rain here and there. I only tried some very few HDR pics that evening and of those few ones that came out I love this one the most. Not only did the picture turn out nicely but I was also able to test some new equipment: My new Canon EOS 60D (the swivel screen is sooo nice if you use a tripod), the Tokina wideangle lens that I bought on ebay and that mini tripod by Cullmann (the smaller Nanomax, but equipped with a more massive Bilora 1157 head).
