Had a nice trip to Cullernose Point/ Swine's Den this morning to catch the sunrise. It was another beautiful one. The sky gave some great colour so I popped out my 10 stop and took a few long exposures.

As I was waiting for the image to process in camera (I do that do get rid of the hot pixels) the sky above me was red hot. I sat there waiting for the image to finish and popped my Hitechs on, but they just didn't capture the sky the way I wanted (I couldn't get the composition I wanted either, there's only so much you can do with 18mm :( )

I think that the Hitechs are great, but they just do not measure up to the likes of the Lee filters.. I am considering investing in a few Lee filters but will probably keep the B+W 10 stop as that does the job quite well..

The title shows my clumsiness as this is the exposure time of the image (I released the button a little too early)

Many thanks for viewing
