This is a well-known fountain, in an outdoor space. I can’t imagine how many photos there are of this one in the world, or how many fountains there are in Rome. This fountain was created by Carlo Maderno (1612-14). It is located to the right as you enter Saint Peter’s Square.

On the left is a nearly identical fountain, by Bernini (1667-77). Seems he took his time - busy guy but great attention to detail.

I liked this fountain enough to have my photo taken in front of it, like I was a tourist! That photo I will not be posting.

Sun, clouds, rain – when you’re in Roma, it’s all good.
