March in the Eastern Sierras is still very much winter. With temperatures falling well below freezing, the camping conditions can quickly become unbearable. However, the clear skies and intermittent snowstorms make for some beautiful photographs. Mono Lake is an incredibly unique place, and when it snows, it completely transforms the landscape. This particular morning, the tranquil water and beautiful clear sky created a sense of serenity and immense beauty—two things that really convey the feelings of witnessing a sunrise in Mono Lake.
