A continuation of a series I'm working on based on the greek story of Persephone, the goddess of vegetation. According to the legend Persephone is allowed to come out of the underworld for six months of every year, resulting in growth and beautiful weather that makes our spring and summer. I didn't exactly shoot it in the right season considering fall is right around the corner but I'm going to work on this series more as soon as there is some snow on the ground (probably sooner than I expect)
This was shot in Starved Rock, IL, which is an incredible place to visit if you ever get the chance.
I'm planning a shoot for tomorrow with some of my insect collection, I'm pretty excited about it!
