Davenport Crack, near Santa Cruz. This is an iconic feature on the Santa Cruz coast. There are many photos of this location on-line, but all of them seem to show a deep narrow crack with water rushing through. However, when I visited it last weekend, it was full of sand. I would estimate that the sand level was at least 4 feet higher than when I previously visited. (One of the local pro's told me that the sand builds up during the summer, and is washed away by the winter storms.) So, not the typical shot from here, but I still like the water motion.
