As many of you might have seen yesterday, the retired Space Shuttle Endeavour made its final trip to its new home city Los An Angeles.

I've been seeing so many wonderful shots coming from across the southland and even from up north of its last journey. Even more mind blowing was the turnout that I was seeing for this final flight.

The shuttle hit several locations once in Los Angeles, but I chose the hills above the Griffith Observatory. So at 5am I grabbed my gear and started up the hill and found my spot.

My original intention was to grab the Endeavor right over the Observatory. I had it all planned out, but after the first pass, everything went to hell.

We had three passes, two as it passed the L.A. area and one where it was coming directly over the Hollywood Sign. This is where I finally captured this shot.
