I heard the yell from very far. When I entered the "void" I stayed totaly amazed by the monstruous clanking noise of some people walking on those steal sheets.
I stayed there for a while, as the silence had came back.
Two young ladies arrived, looking at the silently screaming faces.
I told them about that incredible yell when stepping on them. They didn't even dare to try...
No doubt this moment was among the few very emotionally intense of my stay in Berlin.
