Xi'an was the first city of my "silk road" trip. When I arrived at Xi'an,itt was quite difficult time for me due to the protest of Chinese against Japan had been settled within the city wall. I could not get into the city wall that I had already booked the hotel. The airport bus dropped us (I and my family) somewhere outside city wall. It was my luck to see helpful chinsese man who tried to explain me what happen in English and help me find a new hotel to sleep that night. Though the Terracotta Army visit seem far but was the most easy place to visit on that day because no car could enter the city wall.
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It is located in in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.
