I was looking though some folders the other day, of work I'd kept from when I first started, with a view to deleting as much rubbish as I could thereby freeing up more storage space on my hard drive. All too soon though, I found myself wrapped up in looking at images I'd liked, worked on, some of which I'd even shared on the internet, and thought to myself I may be able to improve on with what I've learned since then in post processing.

Anyhow, the only thing about this photo I was never 100% happy with was the unnatural looking background, and while of course black isn't particularly symbolic of nature, I'd always thought that one day, once I'd improved by processing skills, I'd like to give this one another shot. Well, I'm happy enough with the result to share it with you today!
Oh, and the reason why I chose to title this “The Munch!” is simply because when I captured this image, this is exactly what the Ring-Tail was doing: munching on a piece of vegetable, hence the bulging cheek and the tiny piece poking out of it's
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend ahead :^)
