Here is a pretty picture of some small orchids. There are many similar, I am sure, but I was trying a new way of "seeing," so I went for it. I had recently read a book on the use of natural window light when I noticed that as the sun reaches the end of its day-long journey, it starts to bounce off of the neighbor's house. Most of the year, it is bouncing off a white house and the light is pretty, but not all that unique. This day, though, it bounced off of the yellow house next door; not so much that the highlights were overwhelming, you may not have even noticed them, but they are there. Nice and warm, contrasting nicely, I think, with the greens in the rest of the photo. I hope that you like the image. Thank you, as always, for taking a look.
