I opted to shoot around the Avalanche Gorge area on this dreary day in Glacier. I assumed the lighting and drizzle would help make the famous gorge and it's vibrant green walls really stand out. What I didn't know was that 2 miles up the trail I would find this amazing scene. This shot was taken from the far end of the lake looking back towards the trail. In order to get the perspective of being in the middle of the lake I carefully walked about 15 feet out onto a log and put my tripod in the water below me.
