Hey there, he's back, Well been off for a bit, and catching up! Boy, i look forward to the day of retirement from the working world, and full time photographer....seems very tough to balance both... Any ways back to the story at hand, Had the opp to visit RMP (Rocky Mountain National Park) Got one word for ya...WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! The fall colors were at peak, and between the grasses, and foliage it was heaven! It was a wonderful trip, for both my wife Linda and i, she was a fantastic spotter to boot! Our first visit to RMP, and already planning another one, the place just ROCKS!!! Elk, marmot, pica, coyote, birds, landscapes, it's supercedes my expectations folks. So first time, seeing one of these big elk up close, of course with safety in mind, and after i composed myself, i set out too photograph... this big boy, who had been chasing the ladies, and was plum tuckered out..Had to Hike down a bit too this monster. Low, and close in the natural grasses, reveals the Fall colors, and tones... these meadows, and surroundings are just pristine!
