Well, I couldn't sleep last night, so what else are you supposed to do. So I went out and looked for an angle I had not taken of one of my most favorite Icons... I shot this from the quaint little hamlet of Tiburon along the Bay, about 3.5 miles north and east of the bridge. When I got on location I realized that I did not have even one of my compact flash cards for my Canon 5D MKII, had to go to plan "B"... Broke out the Canon T2i and made preparations to shoot with it. While shooting this shot I was visited within about 10 feet by a nice sized Black Tailed Buck, sporting a great set of antlers. He walked almost right up to me to get my scent. I turned on the headlamp and tried to get a shot of him, but he strolled off into the darkness before I could get the shot.
I shot this at 2:30 am with this cities beautiful signature fog hanging low directly above the bridge, California's Golden Gate Bridge glows an erie almost iridescent orange color due to the use of Sodium Vapor Lights on the bridge itself.
