Another from my recent trip to the Isle of Skye. Up the road from the Old Man of Storr is a road from Staffin to Uig which climbs over the Trotternish ridge. Here you find some wonderful geological landslips have formed into a wonderful array of shapes with names such as the needle, the prison and the table .Photographers flock here for their images. Its a sunrise location but unfortunately I didnt get up there for the magical hour. My previous visit resulted in 15 seconds of light (see Catch a Fire in my portfolio) but once you visit this place you will want to return. The Autumn colours up there at the moment are a real treat.
