The experience in Antelope Canyon is .... interesting. The canyons themselves are breath-taking, the crowds of photographers... not so much. After being stuck in a forest of tripods in the first chamber I decided to skip the second and get ahead of the group to the third chamber, where I wedged myself and my pinhole camera into a corner and made a 30 minute exposure. At such lengths, the hundred odd people that walked through and milled around in the frame disappeared, or never registered. The lone exception being the fellow that stood in the beam of light for a few minutes where he was bright enough to begin to show up in my exposure. Watching the other photographers scramble and jostle for images made me all the more appreciative of pinhole's suggestion that I slow down and look longer.
