A bit of a gears Switch up...As a Floridian, we never get the seasons, or see much of a fall/winter change up, except for a break in humidity, and bugs. So when i had the chance to head north to cleveland, and shoot some Woodie ducks, it was game on.... of course being a photographer, Murphy's law is around every corner... so you guessed, not one freaking wood duck shot of any quality.. They just didn't want to cooperate !! oh well, plan B... Landscapes for three days, and i mean three days going at it, with none other than Josh Clark, from the local cleveland area. We had a blast trying to outdo one another, and pushing out=r limited landscape savy to the next frontier!!!:)
In the process ,we also ran into two other photographers, from 500 pix as well... Mr Tin Man Lee, and Steve(forgive me, forgot last name). They were in town for a wood duck workshop... so we met for dinner and had an awesome time!! You know the deal, Some grey goose, draft beers, good food, fellowship and the stories continued well on into the evening!! Not sure who's story was better, i know one thing though, i had sore abs from all of the laughing!!l
Ok, on to the image, a long exposure opp presented here, with this parting forked stream, surrounded by awesome fall colors, and raining leaves... hardest part was timing the shot to not have the falling leaves piling up, and the showing up as clutter in the water. It was a thrill to see some of the best color, i've ever seen, Period.... In photography, timing is 99% of everything, Well on this weekend the good Lord above blessed us, with fantastic colors at every turn in the road!! A fantastic delightful eye full!! Sorry for the distracting Watermark, and please click on image for a black bkg!
