Laying down on an active rail bridge probably isn’t the smartest thing to do to get an image, but it was a risk worth taking (there was a road crossing right behind me that would alert me).
I was disappointed with the purpose for me to be in Caledon – the Cheltenham Badlands. I got up early to be there for sunrise, and there wasn’t much of anything interesting to photograph. On the way home, I spotted this rail bridge and after about 30 minutes of search for a composition, I spotted this little dandelion.
The dandelion had no choice but to try and grow where its seed had fallen.
Photographed near Caledon, Ontario.
