It all started slowly and quietly when the black vulture was enjoying a sunbath at the highest perch overlooking Lake Blue Cypress in Florida. The osprey circled high as if he took no notice of the vulture. The osprey kept circling but flied lower and lower, the circle smaller and smaller, then within 100 feet, the osprey accelerated in lightning speed and stormed to the black vulture horizontally, with his whole body weight step onto the body of the vulture, pressing the vulture down with his sharp talons so as to grab the vulture tight, and raised his body just like what this photo captured, and pulled the vulture away, as if the osprey was saying "how dare you take the best perch of this lake? Give it back to me." The whole attack took less than a third of a second. All I could see were tens of black feather floating in the sky there...
