While driving through eastern Oregon, just north of LaGrande, I noticed a small exit sign that read "Arch Bridge." Just a few hundred yards off the freeway was this lovely stream and bridge.

Built in the early 1920s the Upper Perry Arch Bridge had fallen into disrepair until a recent renovation restored it to quite a nice diversion on an otherwise very long day of driving.

While getting ready to take the picture, a great blue Heron flew under the bridge and disappeared downstream while I fumbled with my camera settings.
