The Castelltallat range (catalan language: Serra de Castelltallat) is located in central Catalonia (Spain) between the counties of Bages and Solsonès, occupying an area of about 65 square kilometers. It is one of the isolated hills of the Catalan Central Depression and it is located at its southwestern end.

This church, made to the castle Castelltallat, Montedono once said, is documented since 1031. Before 1154 and is now a parish, which will function until today, under the patronage of St. Michael.
