I made this exposure this past summer while visiting family. It was twilight and me and my tripod were sitting precariously on this broken loading dock with the light fading fast. My camera was leaning over the water so i had to hold down one tripod leg or the whole thing would fall in. Of course, it wasn't until after everything was set up that I realized I left my phone (with it's timer) back on dry land. There wasn't enough time to move and set up the shot all over again, so I just counted off the exposure in my head.
