Jack, our rafting captain, from California. 1984. After a month and a half we had finished our trek over the Shingo Lal and rafting the Zanskar River then the Indus River, and trucked to Ladakh, only to find our flight to Kashmir taken. So we sort of hired a decrepit bus to take us over the mountain passes on a 2 day trip to get to Nageen Lake in Kashmir for a week's blissful nothingness. This shot was taken whilst we waited for the bus's on-board maintenance crew to fix it, again, high up on the 'dirt' road. I was going to do the Class V Bio Bio River with him the following year in Chile, but I met a girl.
Shot with Kodak Ektachrome Slide film, cleaned and scanned at 4000dpi. You can't beat the look of film.
