After i had been up in the national park chasing lenticular clouds over the Teide peak with no luck i was properly rewarded with a magnificent lightning storm on my way down just in front of the island of La Gomera. This was the last part of a large storm front that swept through Canary islands the last week. The most intense part was between two layers of clouds and i was so lucky being at almost 2000 meters altitude that i could shoot straight into the storm. The intensity was incredible with numerous of lightning bolts every few seconds for almost 20 minutes before it died out. This is a single exposure.
