The waves were not that big, yet somehow they seemed to be more powerful than other times. Maybe it was the extremely strong southern winds that made the whole thing look more powerful...and shaky! With the tripod trembling from the gusts of wind making some really long exposure shots and the use of the ND110 just...impossible. Except some dozens of shots, the result was a good shower of salty water spray over my lens and my face, which i must admit, i found really refreshing!
tip of the day : always have a piece of clothe (preferably with microfibers) at hand to wipe the water from the lens and your face of course! Yet be careful because the filters can be easily scratched!
