The stunning font in Salisbury Cathedral really was too good to be true. I loved the symmetry and the incredible craftsmanship that had gone into this ornate sculpture. It really resonated for me the incorporation of something so modern into a building of such history and heritage. Hats off to them they nailed it and made my job as a photographer very easy.

Looking at this when I took it, it struck me just how much it resembled an eagle, which is mirrored in the eagle on the pulpit at this cathedral who knows if this was intentional but I loved the shapes and structure of this font.
